I've been doing music coverage for Tattoo Artist Magazine for several months. June 4th, I passed the TAM Tattoo Convention initiation by setting up shop and representing Tattoo Artist Magazine at the Augusta Tattoo Convention in Georgia...
It was my first time working a tattoo convention and I was eager to see how the whole thing went down. I arranged all the banners, magazines and merchandise with great thought and then waited for the onslaught of customers.

Having nothing to compare this experience to, I would say it was a success. I sold stuff, talked about the magazine and met some interesting people. Everyone at the convention was most helpful to me. Justin Shaw offered me his trail mix, a dude let me wear his coat because it was sub arctic degrees in the room and I made fast friends with the 13 Roses crew.

When I got home late Sunday night, I wanted to bake everyone at the Augusta Tattoo Convention cookies for being so nice.
